Carol Chio, FSA, MAAA has extensive work experience in the actuarial field. Carol is currently the Vice President of Actuarial Services at IEHP, where they have been since 2020. Prior to their current role, they served as the Senior Director of Actuarial Services at IEHP from 2020 to 2023. Before joining IEHP, Carol was the Director of Actuarial Services at Inland Empire Health Plan from 2017 to 2020. Carol also worked as the Manager of Actuarial Services at Health Net from 2015 to 2017 and at Health Republic Insurance of New York from 2015 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Carol was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from 2013 to 2015 and held various roles at the California Department of Insurance from 2012 to 2013. Carol began their career as an Actuary at Humana, where they worked from 2001 to 2011.
