Matthew Wray MPA, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew started their career as an Administrative Intern at the City of Arcadia in 2009. In 2010, they became a Planning Intern at the City of Upland.
Matthew then transitioned to the healthcare industry and joined IEHP in 2012 as a Care Management Administrative Assistant. Matthew quickly progressed within the organization and took on roles such as Medical Services Business Analyst, Process Improvement Manager, and Integration Process Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for leading and facilitating process improvement initiatives, overseeing project efforts, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Currently, Matthew holds the position of Director, Health Services Special Initiatives at IEHP. In this role, they are responsible for managing special initiatives within the health services division and ensuring project commitments are met.
With a strong background in healthcare and project management, Matthew possesses a range of skills including process improvement, problem-solving, policy development, and financial tracking.
Matthew Wray MPA, PMP holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from California State University, Fullerton, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to their Master's Degree, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they have attained certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2017, and ASQ Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ in 2015.
