Mar Martinez

Mar Martinez, PhD, serves as the Associate Director at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of IESE Business School since April 2022, leading initiatives for corporate innovators and entrepreneurs. Since January 2013, Mar has also been affiliated with KU Leuven as a voluntary scientific staff member and has previously held roles as a postdoctoral researcher and PhD researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Mar's experience includes project management at the Catalonian Research Institute for Energy and humanitarian action management at Intermon Oxfam. Educational credentials encompass a PhD in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven and training in innovation-driven entrepreneurship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
