Tim Sharman

Tim Sharman is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in algorithmic trading systems. Currently serving as a Core Developer at IEX since September 2019, Tim has previously held positions as a Vice President at Barclays Investment Bank and Senior Vice President at Citi, where the focus was on the development and maintenance of a global in-house built algorithmic trading engine. This engine is developed in Java and utilizes FIX messaging over Tibco EMS for communication with other applications. Tim holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, earned between 1996 and 2000.
