Hemangi Barde

Hemangi Barde has a diverse work experience spanning across various finance and audit roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as an Audit Manager at Mukund M Chitale & Co., where they handled statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, systems audits, and taxation and filing of income tax returns for clients in various sectors such as IT, banking, healthcare, investment, manufacturing, and trading.

In 2006, they joined Syntel Ltd as a Finance Executive, responsible for timely and proper payment of vendors, expense reimbursements, payment of foreign allowances to onsite deputies, and monthly EEFC bank reconciliation.

In 2007, they moved on to Kale Consultants Ltd as an Associate Manager for a brief period of time, before joining Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd as an Assistant Manager - Tax. In this role, they contributed to the tax function of the company.

Since 2009, Hemangi has been working at iFAST Financial India Pvt Ltd as the Finance Manager. Hemangi played a key role in setting up the finance function for the start-up company and has been responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, funding and capital restructuring, business modelling, product structures, tax structures, valuations, and cost management. Hemangi also manages the core aspects of audit, tax, accounts, management information systems (MIS), and finance.

Hemangi Barde completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance and Economics from the University of Mumbai in 1998. Hemangi then went on to pursue a Chartered Accountant certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, specializing in Financial Management, Costing, Accounts, Audit, and Tax, which they completed in 2004. In the same year, Hemangi also enrolled in a Master of Commerce program at the University of Mumbai, focusing on Accounts, Economics, and Tax.
