Claire Zoellner

Claire Zoellner, Ph.D., is the Director of Data Science and Product Manager at iFoodDS, where responsibilities include the vision, planning, and execution of innovative food safety and traceability software products. Prior experience includes serving as a Food Safety Scientist, managing research and partnerships to develop science-based tools for the food industry. Claire's academic background features a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Cornell University under Dr. Renata Ivanek, alongside practical experience as a Food Safety Intern at Wegmans Food Markets and as a Visiting Researcher at UANL, focusing on microbial contamination in food supply chains. Claire obtained a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
