Micaela Neumann is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in health advocacy and policy. Currently serving as Manager of Communications at the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) since July 2021, Micaela previously held roles such as Communication Coordinator and Policy & Research Officer for the Lancet & Financial Times Commission on Governing Health Futures 2030 from September 2019 to July 2021. Earlier positions include Advocacy Manager at the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and various consultant roles at The Global Fund. Micaela holds a Master's degree in Anthropology and Sociology of Development with an emphasis on Global Health from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. Micaela's work encompasses policy development, strategic communications, and advocacy, contributing significantly to global health initiatives and cancer control efforts.
