Crishmi Costa serves as a Senior Product Specialist for AI Solutions & Strategy at IFS since June 2023, focusing on implementing Explainable AI principles and driving Responsible AI initiatives to enhance ethical standards in AI products. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Product Specialist in R&D, AI & Automation at Dialog Axiata PLC from September 2020 to July 2023, where Crishmi led strategic business and technology research and managed new product development using agile methodologies. Earlier engineering internships were completed at the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Lanka Electricity Company Private Limited. Crishmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Moratuwa. Additional qualifications include certificates in Java and robotics training.
