iGEM Competition
Kumar Chaitanya Raghuwanshi is an Associate Coordinator at the Placement and Internship Cell in IIT Roorkee. In addition, Kumar is a Volunteer at Thomso, SPIC MACAY Heritage Club, and Samarthya, all within IIT Roorkee. Furthermore, Kumar serves as an Executive member at Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and works as a Research Assistant in the iGEM Competition. Kumar is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

The iGEM Competition is an annual, world wide, synthetic biology event aimed at university, high school and graduate students. Multidisciplinary teams work all summer long to build genetically engineered systems using standard biological parts called BioBricks. iGEM teams work inside and outside the lab, creating sophisticated projects that strive to create a positive contribution to their communities and the world.
