Abigail Sison is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and laboratory work within the biosciences field. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at iGEM since August 2016, Abigail has held various roles including Laboratory Technician, Ambassador to Australasia, and Lab Technician Intern. Prior to this, Abigail worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Sydney and gained industry experience as a Year In Industry Student at the National Measurement Institute, Australia. Abigail Sison holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology from the University of Sydney, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the same institution. Educational background includes completing high school at Northern Beaches Secondary College, Manly Selective Campus.
