Abrar Hasan

Ambassador/promoter at iGEM

Abrar Hasan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology at BRAC University, with expected graduation in 2025. In addition to academic studies, Hasan holds multiple positions, including Student Tutor at BRAC University and Research Intern at the Bangladesh Institute of Innovative Health Research. As an active member of iGEM, serving as Ambassador/Promoter and Administration and Collaboration Manager for iGEM Bangladesh, Hasan co-founded the iGEM Community project and contributes to Mastering Scicomm. Experience also includes tutoring with Tutoriaa.com, internships at Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College, and a role as a Journalist with BRACU Express. Hasan is involved with the Brac University Community Service Club, functioning as an Executive in the Department of Creative while maintaining engagement as a General Member.
