Maria Bartolini is an experienced professional with a strong background in communications, product management, and technical support within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as Director of Communications at the iGEM Foundation since June 2012, Maria has previously completed contract work at Corning Life Sciences, where a comprehensive competitive audit of the serological pipette market was conducted. As a Product Manager at Merck Millipore, responsibilities included overseeing a significant portfolio totaling $9M - $40M and launching six new products. Maria's early career features roles as Associate Product Manager at Upstate Inc. and Technical Support Scientist, providing vital product training and addressing customer inquiries. Maria holds a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
