Nemanja Stijepovic is an accomplished professional in the field of synthetic biology and education, currently serving as the Executive Vice President and COO of the iGEM Foundation since March 2019. Stijepovic has held various roles within iGEM, including Vice President of Creative Productions and Ambassador to Europe, contributing to the organization's mission of advancing synthetic biology and fostering collaboration. Prior experience includes leadership positions in the iGEM Competition and research roles at the University of Bonn and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, where Stijepovic worked on innovative projects in chemical biology and optogenetics. Stijepovic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biology from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
