Emily Pasiak

Emily Pasiak is a skilled back-end developer with extensive experience in software development, particularly in Ruby on Rails and AWS. Currently employed at Ignition since July 2022, Emily previously held positions as a back-end engineer at Qatalog and a full-stack developer at Franchise Grade, where significant contributions included developing internal and customer-facing features and an API for AWS Elasticsearch services. Earlier roles included HMI developer at MEP SpA, and software developer at Neptec Technologies Corp., focusing on scalable software for various devices and real-time 3D LiDar data analysis, respectively. Emily's career began as a desktop and network technician at Queen's University, and included an entrepreneurial stint as a franchise owner at College Pro.
