Gary Stoner

Gary Stoner is an Information Technology Audit Manager at IGT since May 1996, specializing in Risk Analysis and Security Assessments for various cloud infrastructures. As a GRC SME lead, Gary oversees the processing of Exception Requests to ensure compliance across departmental operations. Previously, as Senior Manager of Hosted Services, Gary established IGT’s first production private cloud environment and developed security compliance processes for payment systems. Additional roles include Operations Manager, System Administrator, and LAN WAN Manager. Gary’s military experience includes service as a Telecommunications Center Operator in the Army National Guard and as a Data Telecommunications Center Specialist in the US Army. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, along with ongoing professional development through Udemy Academy and training in Effective Communications and Human Relations from Dale Carnegie.
