David Crossman currently serves as the Managing Director at IIC Technologies, a position held since February 2019. Prior to this role, David Crossman spent over 27 years with the Royal New Zealand Navy, progressing from a Reserve Officer to a Commander of RNZN Reserves, as well as holding several key positions such as Hydrographer METOC and Deputy Director of Naval Officers Career Management. David Crossman has also acted as the Maritime Lead for Project Cassandra, focusing on strategic human resource development within the Navy. Additional experience includes serving as Naval Adviser in London and Defense Attaché in Germany and the Netherlands. David Crossman has held director-level positions at Geospatial Intelligence New Zealand and the New Zealand Defence Force's Geospatial Intelligence Organisation. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees from UNSW, University of Wollongong, and University of Plymouth in fields such as Strategic Management, Business Management, Defence Studies, and Maritime Studies.
