Sylvester Piu

Sylvester Piu is a data transition leader at IKEA since March 2024, previously serving as Chapter Lead and Business Analyst for Global KYC Data Strategy at ING from January 2021 to March 2024. In this role, Sylvester led a team in enhancing data governance frameworks and executing business analysis for data delivery across integrated systems. Prior experience includes serving as an IT Business Analyst at FNB South Africa, focusing on system and data migration analysis, as well as a Management Trainee at British American Tobacco, where Sylvester undertook improvement projects across various manufacturing departments. Sylvester holds an MBA from TIAS School for Business and Society, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
