Luis Leiva Hércules

Luis Leiva Hércules has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Luis began their career as a High School Intern at Banco GyT Continental, where they focused on database management and user interface development. Luis then worked as a Telemarketing Agent at Citi, where they built relationships with bank customers and promoted bank products and services.

Luis then joined UFRGS as a Teacher Assistant, assisting students with programming projects and providing support in class. Luis also worked as a Spanish Teacher at Wizard, organizing and conducting personal and group classes.

Moving into the field of software development, Luis joined Stefanini Brasil as a Software Developer. In this role, they created Content Management Systems and developed responsive web pages for clients. Luis also built microsites for specific promotions and campaigns.

Luis then joined ADP, where they held multiple positions. As a Software Developer, they worked on analysis, development, and interoperability of reporting systems. As a Data Integration Developer, they implemented solutions for streaming data and built automated testing tools. Finally, as a Back End Developer, they analyzed and developed new Java application APIs for payroll systems.

Currently, Luis is working at ilegra as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer, where they are involved in outsourcing projects for Agibank, a Brazilian bank. Luis utilizes technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, RabbitQM, MongoDB, and Jenkins, among others, for developing and ensuring accurate integration between multiple core banking applications.

Throughout their career, Luis has demonstrated strong technical skills, including proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and SQL. Luis has also gained experience in using tools such as Git, Docker, and Jenkins for version control, containerization, and continuous integration.

Luis Leiva Hércules obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Luis pursued this degree from 2009 to 2014. Prior to their college education, Luis completed their high school education at Monte Carmelo, where they earned a High School Diploma in Computer Technical High School in 2006.
