IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited is a surface transportation infrastructure company. The Company is engaged in developing, designing, operating, maintaining and facilitating surface transportation infrastructure projects across India and overseas, taking projects from conceptualization through commissioning to operations and maintenance under public to private partnership on build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis. The Company's portfolio of projects includes national and state highways, urban roads, fly overs and bridges and non-road sectors, such as metro rail, city bus services and border check posts. Its portfolio of assets consists of annuity and toll-based BOT road projects. The Company has a portfolio of over 40 projects, including over 30 road projects and approximately six non road projects. The total portfolio in terms of length stands over 14, 680 lane-kilometers, of which approximately 11, 550 lane-kilometers are toll-based and over 3, 130 lane-kilometers are annuity-based.
