Ed Goebel is a Science Faculty Emeritus at Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, where Ed previously served as Assistant Principal for Operations and Microbiologist. Prior to that, Ed worked as an Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at Bates College, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ed holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a B.S. in Microbiology from Penn State University.
