Levester Johnson is an accomplished higher education administrator with extensive experience in student affairs. Currently serving as the Vice President for Student Affairs at Illinois State University since July 2016, Levester Johnson provides leadership over various aspects of student life, services, diversity, and engagement. Prior to this role, Levester Johnson was Vice President for Student Affairs at Butler University for nearly two decades and held several positions at Butler University, including Associate Dean of Students and Assistant Dean of Students. Earlier in Levester Johnson's career, positions as Area Coordinator and Hall Director were held at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Levester Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication from Marquette University, a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University Bloomington.
