Cyrus Rashvand

Cyrus Rashvand is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Equipment Engineer at Illumina since April 2024, Cyrus previously held roles as an R&D Engineer specializing in lasers and as a Thin Film Coating Quality Engineer at Edmund Optics from July 2020 to October 2023. Prior to that, Cyrus worked as an Optical Engineer at Clerio Vision, Inc. and as a Research Assistant at Temple University College of Engineering, where contributions included the development of a Femtosecond-Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering microscope under the guidance of Dr. Patil. Additionally, Cyrus served as a Technology Analyst at Temple University's Office of Technology Commercialization and Business Development, facilitating the evaluation and processing of faculty inventions. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Bioengineering from Temple University Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Qiau.
