Myreen C. Piazza

Myreen C. Piazza, MS, MLS(ASCP) is an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor currently at Illumina since April 2019, where oversight of genotyping test performance and laboratory process monitoring is conducted. A veteran of the US Air Force Reserve with over a decade of service, Piazza held various leadership roles, including Superintendent of 752 MDS Hospital Services and Flight Chief of 452 AMDS Laboratory Services, managing laboratory operations and ensuring quality compliance. Previous roles included Clinical Laboratory Supervisor at US Specialty Labs and Clinical Laboratory Scientist at LabCorp, where expertise in clinical studies and QC data interpretation was demonstrated. Piazza holds a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, along with associate degrees in Mathematics and Science, and Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician.
