Rami Mehio

Rami Mehio is a seasoned professional in the fields of bioinformatics, software development, and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Global Software and Informatics at Illumina since May 2018, Rami Mehio leads the development of bioinformatics methods and sequencing software, overseeing a team of experts. Prior to this role, Rami Mehio was the Vice President of Engineering at Edico Genome, where Rami Mehio spearheaded the development of the DRAGEN pipeline, and held various leadership positions at Broadcom and Nokia, focusing on firmware and audio/video engineering. Rami Mehio holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, both from McGill University.
