Ruben Wong

Ruben Wong is a seasoned professional in strategic sourcing and procurement, currently serving as a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager at Illumina since March 2022. With extensive experience in the field, Wong held the position of Global Commodity Manager at Philips from March 2010 to February 2022 and previously worked as a Procurement Program Manager at Philips from April 2001 to June 2003. Prior roles include Sr. Industrial Engineer at Intel Corporation and Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Boeing. Wong's expertise includes implementing cost-saving programs, mentoring in Lean manufacturing practices, and developing capacity simulation models.
