Travis James Musser

Travis James Musser is a seasoned manager and developer in user experience design with significant expertise in front-end development. Currently, as the Manager of the Experience Design Development team at Illumina since October 2016, Travis has expanded the team from a single developer to four specialists, fostering collaboration across product development to create user-friendly interfaces. Previous roles at Illumina include Staff HF/UX Developer and Senior UX Developer, where responsibilities encompassed wireframing and designing user interfaces for enterprise SaaS products using technologies such as Angular 9 and SASS. Prior experience includes UI development at Planet Interactive, UI/UX design and development at Youtily, and a contract UI designer position at Google. Travis has also held leadership roles as a Senior Lead UI/UX Designer at Paradigm Real Estate Solutions and has freelanced since 2007, alongside teaching advanced web design at Las Positas College. Travis holds an Associate's Degree in Visual Communications from Las Positas College.
