Andy Gryczan is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in motorsports and powertrain engineering. Currently serving as Chief Race Engineer for Ilmor Engineering, Inc., Andy has played a pivotal role in leading teams to success, including the 2024 Indy 500 Championship with Josef Newgarden and Team Penske. Prior roles include Chief Calibration Engineer and Trackside Support Engineer, managing engineering teams and supporting top drivers in the IndyCar series. Previous experience includes positions as Powertrain Engineer at International Truck and Engine, Associate Engineer at Katech Engine Development, Powertrain Mechanical Team Leader for the MSU Formula Racing Team, and Associate Powertrain Calibration Engineer at Roush Industries. Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automotive Powertrain from Michigan State University.
