John Thigpen has a diverse and extensive work experience. John started their career at Welch's in 1989, where they held various management positions for seven years. John then joined Werner Co., a ladder manufacturer, as the Director of Operations from 1996 to 2006. During their time at Werner Co., the extruded product division was divested and became Signature Aluminum, where John served as the President until 2009. In 2009, John started their own company, Thigpen & Associates, where they served as the President until 2010. Since 2010, they have been the President and General Manager of ILSCO Extrusions, Inc., where they successfully restarted a former aluminum facility and achieved impressive results.
John Thigpen earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College in 1986. John later obtained an MBA from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus between 1991 and 1994. In addition, they hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Pennsylvania since 1989.
