Dave Skooglund has a diverse work experience in human resources. Dave is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Human Resources at Imaginuity, where they work with the executive team to set the strategic direction of HR and manages all functional areas of HR. Prior to this, Dave was the HR Director at KT&G USA, where they led HR operations and staff and played a key role in transforming the HR function during a period of rapid growth. Dave also worked as a Relationship Manager at ADP, where they provided support and solutions for clients, maintaining a client retention rate of over 95%. As the U.S. HR Manager at ECOM Trading, Dave oversaw and managed health and welfare benefits programs. Dave also served as the Manager of HR Business Partner at Ryan, where they managed the HR function for multiple practice areas in the U.S. and Europe. Previously, at Dougherty's Holdings, Dave served as the HR Manager, overseeing all HR facets and updating outdated processes. Dave gained CEO approval for recommendations to enhance the HR function. Prior to that, as the HR Business Director at Capgemini, Dave led the HR function for the Business Process Outsourcing service line in North America, implementing global HR programs and practices. Lastly, at The Dallas Morning News, Dave worked as an HR Business Partner, establishing relationships with key newsroom leaders and introducing a new performance management system. Dave Skooglund's work experience showcases their expertise in strategic HR planning, transformational leadership, and implementing effective HR programs and practices.
Dave Skooglund has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University. Dave also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of North Texas. Prior to their university education, Dave Skooglund attended JJ Pearce High School.
