James Price has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. James started their career as a Jr. Developer at Designed Data, where they developed custom software. James then worked at RCN (formerly 21st Century Telecom, formerly Enteract) as a Systems Admin/Commercial Support Lead during the internet bubble. After that, they joined ANET Internet as a Systems Engineer, where they focused on Unix and Linux systems administration, Windows systems administration, and network engineering.
In 2004, James moved to j2 Global Communications as a Sr. Network Engineer, supporting the Onebox division's unified communications platform. James later joined The SAVO Group as Director of Systems Engineering, responsible for managing infrastructure teams and data center operations.
James's work experience also includes founding Digitalciti, Inc., where they are involved in various stages of operation and is about to open a sizable data center. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Cloud Infrastructure at iManage.
Throughout their career, James has demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in infrastructure project management, budget management, data center management, systems engineering, network engineering, and software development.
James Price attended Devry from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecom Management with a specialization in Telecommunications. Prior to that, they attended Naperville North from 1993 to 1996, although no specific degree or field of study is provided. In addition to their formal education, James obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco in June 2007.
