Kashyap Desai

Kashyap Desai has a diverse range of work experience. Kashyap began their career in 2018 as an R&D Intern at iManage, where they worked on projects related to Document Clustering and System Health Check and Monitoring. During this time, they applied Deep Learning methodologies like CNN and RNN based autoencoders, as well as algorithms like Affinity Propagation and Hierarchical Clustering, to improve clustering results. Kashyap also utilized models like Doc2vec, Word2vec, and GloVe to obtain effective document representations.

Following their internship, in 2018 Kashyap worked briefly as a Web Developer at the University of Illinois Chicago.

In 2019, Kashyap returned to iManage, this time in the role of Machine Learning Engineer. Kashyap held this position until August 2020, during which they likely worked on applying machine learning techniques to various projects within the company.

From August 2020 to December 2022, Kashyap served as a Data Scientist at iManage.

Finally, in January 2023, Kashyap was promoted to the role of Senior Data Scientist at iManage, where they are currently employed.

Kashyap Desai completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2017 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, Kashyap obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in March 2020, and they also completed courses such as "Complete Guide to Tensorflow for Deep Learning with Python online course" and "Python for Machine Learning and Data Science Bootcamp" from Udemy in January 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate certification in Web Development Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2015.
