Patrick Skerrett has extensive work experience in the technology and operations field. Patrick started their career as an IT Consultant at Nucleus Consulting, where they performed tasks such as re-creating trading systems for Y2K compliance and corporate datacenter migrations.
Patrick then worked as the Director of Internet Systems at Freedrive, overseeing all datacenter hosting operations for the online storage company.
After that, Skerrett joined Metavante as a Systems Architect, specializing in the architecture and project management of various products within the Consumer Electronic Banking environment.
At JPMorgan Chase, Skerrett served as a Market Data Engineer, working on a team to deliver market data services to a new trading floor. Patrick collaborated with business lines and market data vendors to develop network delivery solutions for trading desktop applications.
Following their role at JPMorgan Chase, Skerrett worked as the IT Director at Edline, where they provided leadership in all IT aspects.
Patrick then joined Blackboard as a Director of Datacenter Operations, leading the department and serving as the lead architect for all datacenter operations for major educational internet portals. Patrick built one of the largest SaaS infrastructures in the world, managing multiple datacenters and serving millions of customers.
Currently, Skerrett is the Head of Cloud Operations at iManage, where they lead global infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams for all customer-facing SaaS products, with a focus on the legal, accounting, and financial services sectors.
Patrick Skerrett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Resource Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Patrick attended the university from 1991 to 1996.
