Abder M. has a strong work experience in the field of quantitative trading. Abder currently holds the position of team lead and quant trader at IMC Trading, where they are responsible for leading a team of crypto traders, researchers, and developers. Abder'smain focus is on crypto derivatives and options market making. Prior to this, Abder M. worked as a quant trader and team lead at Citadel Securities from 2018 to 2022. Abder also worked as an equity derivatives quant trader at HSBC from 2016 to 2018. Abder M. began their career as a quant trader at Société Générale from 2014 to 2016. Before entering the financial industry, they worked as a math tutor at Lycée Louis-le-Grand from 2012 to 2013.
Abder M. began their education in 2010 at Lycée Louis-le-Grand, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in MP* Mathematics and physics, completing in 2012. Abder then enrolled at CentraleSupélec from 2012 to 2015, specializing in Applied Maths and Machine Learning. Concurrently, in 2014-2015, Abder attended Université Paris Cité, where they pursued an M2 Laure Ellie degree in Applied Mathematics to finance. Continuing their academic journey, from 2015 to 2018, Abder studied at École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Applied Mathematics.
