Andrei Cojocaru is a skilled software engineer and manager with extensive experience in data engineering and high-frequency trading. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Manager and Software Engineer at IMC Trading since August 2022, Andrei specializes in building robust data services utilizing Python, Kotlin, Dremio, HDFS, Kubernetes, and Docker. Previously, Andrei held roles at Technische Universiteit Delft, including Data Engineering Project Lead, where leadership was demonstrated in designing and implementing data platforms, as well as being the architect for the Extension School's data platform. With experience as a Data Engineer at Spar Holding Netherlands, Andrei contributed to modernizing analytics workflows and data infrastructure. Andrei's early career includes teaching assistant positions at the University of Twente and a role as a Junior Software Developer at ING Nederland. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Data Science in Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Twente.
