Evert Koopman has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Evert started their career at the Universiteit van Amsterdam as a PhD student from 2003 to 2007. Evert then joined WCC in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer for 11 years. At WCC, they contributed to the development of the ELISE ID Platform product, focusing on both the customer-facing frontends and the core matching capabilities. Evert also integrated various third-party biometric algorithms, facilitated the transition to a modern CI/CD environment, and worked on multiple customer projects. In 2018, Evert joined IMC Trading, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Software Engineer - Team Lead.
Evert Koopman's education history began in 1997 when they enrolled at the University of Amsterdam to pursue a MSc degree in Physics. Evert completed this program in 2007. Following this, they furthered their studies at the same institution and attained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry from 2003 to 2014.
