Jurjen Koksma

Jurjen Koksma began their work experience in 2005 as a Research Intern at the National Aerospace Laboratory NLR. Jurjen then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Utrecht University from 2004 to 2010. In 2012, they joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant and remained in that role until 2018. In 2018, Jurjen joined IMC Trading as a Member of the Executive Committee, Global Head of Business Strategy, and IMC Investments co-lead.

Jurjen Koksma began their education in 2002 at Utrecht University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Astronomy. Jurjen completed this program in 2005.

In 2005, Jurjen Koksma furthered their studies by enrolling at the University of Cambridge. Here, they pursued a Master of Advanced Study (MASt) in Theoretical Physics, which they completed in 2006.

After completing their MASt, Jurjen Koksma returned to Utrecht University for their postgraduate studies. Jurjen pursued a Master of Science degree in Theoretical Physics, completing this program in 2007.

Following the completion of their MSc, Jurjen Koksma continued their academic journey by enrolling in a PhD program at Utrecht University. Jurjen specialized in Cosmology and Theoretical Physics, and successfully completed their PhD in 2011.

During their PhD studies, Jurjen Koksma also had the opportunity to broaden their academic experience by becoming a visiting PhD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010.

Overall, Jurjen Koksma's education history includes a BSc in Physics and Astronomy from Utrecht University, an MASt in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University, and a PhD in Cosmology and Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University.
