Matteo Isella is an experienced trader with a diverse background in financial markets. Currently serving as the Team Lead on the Brazil desk at IMC Trading since August 2019, Matteo has expertise in volatility spreads and market making for European index options. Prior experience includes a role as a Quantitative Trader at TransMarket Group from February 2017 to June 2019, focusing on systematic relative value arbitrage and market making in commodity futures. Matteo began their career with a summer internship at Intermonte SIM S.p.A. in 2016, where the development of an advanced operational risk model using R was a key achievement. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from EPFL and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
