Jessica de Wild is a seasoned professional in the field of photovoltaics and applied physics, currently serving as a Guest Lecturer at UHasselt since September 2017 and as a Senior Researcher focusing on thin film photovoltaics at imec since March 2017. With a robust background that includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Luxembourg where development of earth abundant absorber layers for photovoltaic applications was carried out, and previous experience as a Design Engineer at ASML tackling troubleshooting for extreme ultraviolet light sources, Jessica has demonstrated expertise across various aspects of solar energy research and development. Jessica's academic journey includes a PhD from Universiteit Utrecht, specializing in the efficiency enhancement of solar cells, complemented by master's degrees in Energy Science and Physics from Utrecht University and Uppsala University, respectively.
