Peter Kourzanov has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Peter is currently serving as a Principal Modeling Architect at imec since June 2022. Prior to this, Peter was the Owner of Manyfold since March 2019.
Before entering the entrepreneurial space, Peter worked at NXP Semiconductors for many years, holding various positions. Peter was a Senior Systems Engineer from September 2021 to May 2022, a Senior Software Engineer from September 2017 to September 2021, and a Senior Researcher from September 2006 to September 2017. As a Senior Researcher, they contributed to the development of a Data-flow language and implemented code-generation back-ends for multi-core systems.
Peter started their career as a Researcher at Philips from September 2001 to September 2006. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing a reference implementation of UHAPI on Linux.
At SuSE Budapest, Peter held the role of a System Administrator and 2nd Line Support from 1999 to 2001. During this time, they designed and implemented COBRA services, developed a storage management solution for streaming media, and handled the installation and maintenance of a corporate server environment.
Overall, Peter Kourzanov has extensive experience in modeling architecture, system engineering, software development, and research, with a track record of contributing to various projects and companies.
Peter Kourzanov earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (Technische Informatica) from Delft University of Technology, which they attended from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, they studied Robotics at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University from 1992 to 1993. Peter also attended Anichkov Lyceum from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Machine Learning, Principles of Reactive Programming, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera. The specific months of certification completion are not provided.
