Philip Pieters has extensive experience in business development and management in the technology industry. Philip began their career as an RF R&D Engineer at IMEC in 1994 and later became a Design and Field Application Engineering Manager at CS2 in 2000. In 2002, they returned to IMEC and served as a Business Development Manager for seven years before being promoted to Business Development Director for the Energy Business. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Business Line Director, overseeing the business development of IMEC's semicon and systems business. In this position, they manage a team of business development managers and focuses on growing research partnerships with fabless companies.
Philip Pieters has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, which they obtained from 1996 to 2002. Philip also has a Ms in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in RF & telecom from KU Leuven, earned from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed Industrial Engineering in Electronics from Industriele Hogeschool Oostende between 1987 and 1991. Their earliest education is from Sint-Jozef College Torhout from 1981 to 1987, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
