Samuel Suhard is a seasoned professional in 3D integration engineering with extensive experience at imec since December 2008, currently serving as a Senior 3D Integration Engineer. Notable contributions include the development of the collective transfer of dies to a 300mm wafer and the integration of singulation by plasma in this process, as well as advancements in transferring III-V layers for micro-LED applications. Previous roles at imec include Senior R&D Engineer, focusing on wet cleaning processes for vertical nanowires and in situ pre-epi-clean techniques, and Research Engineer, where emphasis was placed on surface preparation and integrated cleaning methods for 3D integration. Prior experience includes a Research Engineer position at CNRS, specializing in micro-actuator design and MEMS fabrication, and a postdoctoral role at the University of Leicester, focusing on fluorinated polymer synthesis. Samuel holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Leicester, earned between 2000 and 2003.
