Sri Samavedam is a seasoned professional in semiconductor technology with extensive experience in leadership roles within leading companies. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at imec since August 2019, Sri has previously held several senior positions at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, including Senior Director of Technology Development, where Sri successfully ramped 14nm CMOS technology to volume manufacturing and supported production for various clients. Early career roles included significant contributions at Freescale Semiconductor, Nanocoolers, and Motorola, focusing on advanced CMOS technologies and process integration. Sri holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and advanced degrees in Materials Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering from Purdue University and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, respectively.
