Steven Scheer has a strong work experience in the semiconductor industry. Steven currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at imec, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to this, they served as Vice President at the same company from January 2019 to March 2022.
Before joining imec, Steven worked at Tokyo Electron US for a significant period of time. Steven held various roles including Account Technology Director and Senior Member of Technical Staff from August 2016 to December 2018, Corporate Marketing Director and Senior Member of Technical Staff from April 2014 to July 2016, Senior Research Development Manager and Member of Technical Staff from January 2012 to April 2014, and Research and Development Manager from October 2005 to December 2011.
Steven's early career includes a role as a Process Development Engineer at IBM from November 2002 to October 2005.
Steven Scheer completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1997. Steven went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002.
