Yanlu Li is an Assistant Professor at Ghent University since September 2021 and has been a Senior Photonics Engineer at imec since February 2015. Previously, Yanlu Li served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ghent University from October 2008 to January 2015, focusing on MRR-based gas sensors, and completed a PhD on miniaturized laser Doppler vibrometers on silicon-on-insulator, alongside a role as a teaching assistant for a micro-photonics course. Earlier experience includes an internship at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2007, where analysis of polarization mode dispersion in telecommunication fibers was conducted. Yanlu Li holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Photonics from Ghent University, along with a Master's from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and another Master's from Ghent University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Dalian University of Technology.
