Mai Nguyen is a Senior Research Associate at iMicrobes, specializing in the development of process improvements for methane fermentation into chemical products since October 2019. Previously, Mai served as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, guiding undergraduate research on food fermentations and leading laboratories that linked cooking concepts to physics and chemistry. Additionally, Mai managed lab operations and coordinated public lectures at Harvard, while also developing online course content for HarvardX. Prior experiences include working as a Research Technician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. Mai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia.
