iMicrobes
Yuan Zhang is a Scientist at iMicrobes with experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester. Yuan holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, an M.S. in Biology, and a B.S. in Biology from Beijng Normal University. At iMicrobes, Yuan is involved in the development of multiple-loci strain engineering method in yeast strains and high-throughput transformation in yeast. At the University of Rochester, Yuan characterized an alternative sigma factor and studied its role in cellulases transcription regulation, as well as investigated the function of a redox-sensing transcription factor in C.
