David Reay

Group People Director at Immediate Media Co

David Reay has held various roles in HR and People management throughout their career. David started as an HR & Development Manager at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in 2005 before becoming the Head of Learning & Development. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at BAE Systems as the Head of Resourcing & Development and later as the Global Head of Talent & HR Capability. In 2011, they joined RSA as the Group Head of Talent & Acquisition, where they implemented global talent frameworks and strategies. David then joined Sony Music Entertainment in 2012, where they held multiple VP-level positions, including Senior Vice President Human Resources and VP HR for N&E Europe & Africa and Global Organisation Development. Their work at Sony Music involved implementing organization programs and putting people at the center of business imperatives. Following their time at Sony Music, David worked at TikTok as an HR Lead and at Condé Nast as the SVP of People. Currently, they are the Group People Director at Immediate Media Co. In addition to their corporate roles, David also served as a Trustee at Magic Breakfast.

David Reay attended Teesside University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management and HR.
