Simon Carrington has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Simon started their career at Trinity Mirror Group PLC as a Deputy Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive for the Daily Mirror and Independent newspapers from 1996 to 2000. Simon then joined BBC Magazines in 2000, where they worked as a Marketing Manager for various publications including BBC Top Gear and BBC Good Homes until 2006. Simon also served as an Associate Publisher for Top Gear from 2006 to 2010. In 2012, Carrington joined Immediate Media Co as a Publisher for BBC Top Gear magazine, Lonely Planet Traveller, and Olive. Simon later became the Publishing Director for BBC Good Food and BBC Top Gear, and currently holds the position of Commercial Director, starting in March 2020.
Simon Carrington received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Warwick, where they studied from 1983 to 1996.
