Emma W. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, research, and policy development, particularly in the realms of cyber resilience and data ethics. Currently serving as a Product Manager and Principal Cyber Exercising SME at Immersive Labs since August 2022, Emma W. focuses on creating engaging and educational products to evaluate human cyber resilience. Previous roles include Principal Research Officer at the Office for National Statistics, Data Ethics Policy Lead at the UK Statistics Authority, and Vice Chancellor’s Fellow at the University of Bristol, where Emma W. led research on cyber security and cybercrime. With a background in psychology, including a PhD from Cardiff University, Emma W. has also contributed to both academic and industry sectors, including positions at BAE Systems, HM Government, and several educational institutions.
