Zaur Akhriev, President, is a Senior Portfolio Manager at The Standard Insurance Co., where he co-manages $8 billion in corporate bond assets. Prior to joining the portfolio management group, he worked in StanCorp Investment Advisors selecting and monitoring mutual fund managers. He has a BA from Portland State University and MBA from the University of Oregon. Zaur is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst. He moved to Portland from southern Russia in 1998.

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) is a non-profit organization established in 1974 to serve immigrants and refugees in Portland, Oregon. Since its founding, IRCO has served more than 55,000 people through provision of programs and services that meet needs related to training and employment, health and aging, English language learning, naturalization and adjustment, community development, early childhood, parenting and youth development, education and interpretation and translation.
